We are delighted to have been awarded the Health and Wellbeing – Targeted Population Award in recognition of our employment scheme in Kingston, which aims to offer employment and skills development opportunities to young people with learning disabilities. As a social enterprise this award demonstrates our commitment to making a positive impact on the communities we serve and we hope that the raised awareness from this award will help to showcase the importance of these types of programmes and the positive impact that they can have on not just the individual but also their families.

We LOVED being a part of the Active Training Awards process, it was a way to test our mettle and mix it up with some of the biggest fitness organisations in the world (and win! - Innovative Training Programme of the Year ). It was fantastic to receive the 2016 Best Use of Technology Award. We have spent a great deal of time and energy getting our online material learning and app right. We want our students to be able to access course material anytime and anyplace making study as easy and realistic for them as possible. We are very proud to have won the Employer of the year Award in 2016 for our Supervisors Academy development scheme. We were the first employer to map, design and deliver a CIMPSA L3 Leisure Management Qualification for our workforce to upskill and enable growth and succession planning. It is fantastic to receive national recognition for this training scheme and to benefit from all of the positive external PR, networks and connections that comes with being a winner. We also found real benefit in intertwining the award application process with our learners.
